Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This policy explains how Persona Master (also named 分身大师, the “App”) handles information and the choices available to you.
Operator and data controller: Epmen Pobez
Privacy contact: epmenPobez28@gmail.com
1. On-device content
Your profile name, bio, profile links and selected avatar are stored on your device. Bookmarks and language preferences are also stored locally. The current version does not upload the contents of this information through our own service APIs.
QR code generation, QR recognition from selected images, and image resizing and JPEG processing take place on your device. Text, QR contents and images used by these tools are not uploaded through our own service APIs.
When you choose to share content, open a link or submit information to a website, the selected app, recipient or website receives what you share or submit. Copies you have shared are no longer information held only on your device.
2. Service data
To establish service connections, provide the website catalog, measure usage and diagnose issues, our servers process:
- Installation and device information: an installation identifier generated by the App and stored in the system Keychain, app identifier and version, operating system version, device model, system language and region settings.
- Network information: network connection information used for service connections, operational statistics and troubleshooting.
- Usage and diagnostic records: app entry, website catalog entries opened, foreground usage duration, event times, ad displays and failures, ad placements and error information.
These records can be associated with the installation identifier to recognize the same installation, measure activity and feature usage, measure ad results and investigate problems. They are not completely anonymous. Our current event APIs record catalog entry identifiers; they do not thereby upload the full contents of web pages or chats.
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you provide to handle your inquiry or privacy request. Please do not send unnecessary identity documents, account passwords or other sensitive information.
3. Websites and local storage
When you open a bookmarked website, that website and its providers receive network connection information, browser information and content you submit as needed for the visit. They may use cookies, caches and similar technologies to maintain sign-in sessions and provide services. Their processing is also governed by their own privacy policies.
In-app websites use system WebKit website storage. Closing a page or quitting the App does not mean cookies, sign-in sessions or information held by a website have been deleted. You can use the website’s own sign-out and privacy controls.
When remote resources such as website icons are loaded, the resource providers also receive information needed to establish the network connection.
4. Advertising partners
The App contains advertising and uses third-party advertising services. Advertising providers may process device identifiers, device and network information, ad interactions, diagnostic data and performance data to load and display ads, measure results, prevent fraud and diagnose faults. The actual scope depends on the SDK version, configuration and system permissions.
Our advertising integration sets options that restrict IDFA use and personalized advertising, among other settings. These settings do not mean that all advertising services collect no information. This policy does not replace legally required consent or Apple’s App Tracking Transparency authorization.
5. Photos and system features
- Selecting images: the system photo picker imports images you choose for an avatar, QR recognition or image processing. These features do not require full-library read access.
- Saving and sharing: you initiate the system share or save action. If the system requires permission to add to Photos, it handles that permission through its prompt.
- Copying: tapping Copy writes the selected text or recognized result to the clipboard. Our own features do not automatically read clipboard contents in the background.
These native tools do not require camera, microphone, contacts or precise location permissions. You can manage granted system permissions in iOS Settings. Assess any separate permission requests from websites or external apps using their own explanations.
6. Retention and deletion
Local profile information and preferences preserve your settings. You can edit your profile or remove bookmarks in the relevant screens. Deleting the App normally removes its local files, but an installation identifier in the system Keychain may remain. Deleting the App does not delete our server records, copies you have shared or information held by websites.
Retention of server records is determined by service delivery, usage measurement, troubleshooting and applicable legal requirements. Device records, usage events, logs and backups may have different retention periods; they should not be understood to all expire automatically after a single fixed number of days.
To ask about the retention of information concerning you or request deletion, contact the email address in this policy. After verifying your request, we will handle it under applicable law. Records that must be retained by law will be restricted to the relevant purposes. You can contact third-party services through their privacy channels about information they hold.
7. Choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request information about, access to, correction or deletion of personal information concerning you; object to or restrict particular processing; or withdraw authorization for processing based on consent. You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority.
Email epmenPobez28@gmail.com with the app name, app version and your request. We may need reasonable additional information to verify your identity and locate records, so that another person’s information is not disclosed or deleted.
You can decline to select photos, cancel sharing, sign out of websites or change system permissions. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal. Some choices may prevent the corresponding feature from being provided.
8. Security and service providers
The App stores installation identifiers and service credentials in the system Keychain and uses encryption for service requests. No method of storage or transmission guarantees absolute security. Protect your device and the information you choose to share.
Server, network hosting, advertising and other providers needed to deliver the service may process information within the scope of their services. Where we appoint processors, we will address their scope and protection obligations as required by applicable law. Disclosures required by law are limited to the relevant scope.
Services you access and their providers may operate in different countries or regions. Cross-border processing requiring additional notices, consent or safeguards must meet the applicable requirements. This policy does not itself constitute separate authorization for an international transfer.
9. Children
The App is not designed specifically for children. Minors should use the service with the guidance and consent of a parent or guardian where required by applicable law. If a guardian believes we have improperly processed a minor’s information, please contact us so we can investigate and act under applicable law.
10. Updates and contact
We may update this policy as features, providers or legal requirements change, and will show the updated date here. Where required, we will provide further notice of material changes. If fresh consent is required by law, continued use alone will not replace it.
For questions about this policy or information handling, contact the operator, Epmen Pobez, at epmenPobez28@gmail.com.
This policy is available in Chinese and English. Both versions are intended to describe the same processing activities.
